Brendan Rodgers on Borrowed Time as Liverpool Contact Former Chelsea Boss Carlo Ancelotti

Struggling Liverpool have contacted former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti about the possibility of taking over from Brendan Rodgers at Anfield, claim reports in Italy.

The Italian boss has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season but is one of the most decorated managers in Europe having won the Champions League on three occasions.

The pressure is mounting on Rodgers at Anfield with his Reds side picking up just eight points from their opening six Premier League matches.

And Italian outlet Calciomercatoweb claim that Liverpool officials have contacted Ancelotti about becoming Liverpool boss with Rodgers’ position looking increasingly vulnerable.
